First let’s talk a little bit about the energy in foods. As you probably know, not all foods are created equal in terms of their energy content. For example, foods that are high in calories can be very helpful for athletes. However, high calorie foods can work against you if you’re trying to lose weight. Many health experts agree that a diet focused on healthy low calorie foods can help promote weight loss without a great sacrifice in nutrition.
